Renovaciones increibles

Hace un par de semanas mis suegros nos hicieron una visita, pero no se trato de una visita ordinaria, venían con un propósito claro, querían remodelar las habitaciones de los niños. La verdad es que ni Jamie ni yo somos muy manitas con ese tipo de cosas pero mis suegros por otro lado son auténticos profesionales.

Aun recuerdo que la primera vez que visite su casa me pareció estar en una de esas revistas de decoración. A lo largo de los anos les he visto hacer cosas increíbles que no podrías imaginar, además lo hacen todo solos, han sido contados los casos en que han tenido que contratar a alguien, desde la instalación eléctrica la pintura, la restauración de muebles, cualquier cosa se te ocurra, y recientemente my cuñada se ha unido al equipo con su máquina de coser

Podeis ver los resultados en el slide-show, Sophia está literalmente enamorada de su habitación, a ella le encantan las cosas bonitas y rosas, Ethan aunque no se fija tanto en esas cosas también está encantado con la suya, especialmente el marcador que está hecho completamente a mano. Jamie y yo estamos muy agradecidos de que is suegros hayan venido en sus dias libres y hayan currado tanto para hacer que las habitaciones de los niños hayan quedado tan bonitas.

Amazing renovations

A couple of weeks ago my parents-in-law came to visit us, but it was not an ordinary visit, they came on a mission, they wanted to fix-up the kids bedrooms. Neither Jamie nor I are very handy with that kind of stuff, but my in-laws in the other hand are real professionals.

I remember that the first time I saw their house I thought I was in a decoration magazine. Over the years I have seen them doing such amazing things in their house that you wouldn't believe;, and they do it all by themselves, very rarely they need to hire anybody, from wiring to painting, treating furniture, anything that you can think of, and now my sister-in-law has joined the team with her sewing machine.

You can see the results in the slideshow, Sophia literally loves her room, she likes pink and pretty things, Ethan is more boyish (obviously) but he also loves his, specially the scoreboard (made from scratch!!) in his room. Jamie and I are very thankful that they used their time off to come to see us and worked to hard to make the kids rooms look so pretty.
